U BOLTS

1. Diameter:
Measure the thickness of the rod on the threaded section. Do not measure the smooth, unthreaded part of the shaft.

2. Inside Width:
Place a tape measure on the inside of one leg and extend it to the inside of the other leg under to the arch. This is the most crucial measurement, as the U-bolt must fit your component's width.

3. Leg Length:
Measure from the inside of the U-bolt arch, to the bottom of the thread on one of the legs.
